We are pleased to welcome Matteo Bordato as Chief Financial Officer of Newport & Co. Matteo joins from MUTARES, where he served as Finance & Restructuring Manager, working across complex restructuring and turnaround environments with a focus on financial governance, liquidity management and operational stabilisation. During his tenure as Finance & Restructuring Manager, he was appointed Interim CFO within Selzer Group, where he played a key role in the turnaround of the European automotive components manufacturer. He also contributed to the implementation of a stand-alone reporting system at Stuart, the French last-mile delivery platform. His appointment further strengthens Newport & Co’s senior leadership team alongside Tom Van der Haegen, Domenico Pirella, Niccolò Azzarini, and Jimmy Clarini, as we continue building our pan-European perpetual compounding platform focused on acquiring corporate carve-outs and corporate divestitures.
