The highly anticipated Mini Olympics at our Lindfield K–6 campus was given an extra special boost today, with the event featured on Channel Seven's 'Sunrise Weather' cross this morning! As we marked the 50th Anniversary of the Special Olympics, we were honoured to again host several Special Olympics athletes, who shared their stories and joined in on a rotation of sports challenges that were led by our Year 6 students. This annual event is a key part of our service learning program, which continues to inspire our students to give back and make a meaningful difference. Thank you to the many members of our community who were involved today (some since very early this morning!) and thank you to everyone who has been able to donate to this wonderful cause.
