For NYU Tisch School of the Arts student Noelle Darts, the greatest perk of working in the NYC Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment is getting a behind the scenes perspective on the city's creative economy. "I was lucky enough to attend the Tony Awards dress rehearsal in June and had a lot of fun not only watching the performances, but also seeing how many people it takes to put together the event, from stage managers to crew," says the Interactive Media Arts major. Noelle creates content for MOME's online presence, which includes managing Commissioner Rafael Espinal's official Instagram account, and is excited to develop her skills in film and short-form video. She met Espinal (shown with Noelle in photo two) in a previous role she found through the Adobe Creative Apprenticeship program, and he invited her to join him after being appointed to the city post.
