NewYork-Presbyterian teamed up with the New York Mets and Fans for the Cure to offer free prostate cancer screenings last week at Citi Field. More than 200 men got the simple blood test, taking the first step in reducing their risk. One in 8 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime, but it is highly treatable when caught early. Michael Kender, who was screened at this same event in 2024 and subsequently treated by #NYPQueens urologist Dr. David Green, is one such survivor. He joined Dr. Green at the event to encourage others to get tested. “It could save your life,” he said. #NYP is proud to be the official health and wellness partner of the Mets, and we thank the amazing teams who made this event possible.
