💍 Oura Launches Brain Study and Explores Care Pathways ŌURA has had a busy month. The company launched Oura Ring 5, reportedly filed confidentially for a US IPO, and is now valued at around $11 billion. Among that flurry of activity, it also announced two partnerships that push the ring further towards clinical endpoints. In a partnership with UK neuroscience firm Cambridge Cognition, Oura is exploring a direct brain-health layer. Through Oura Labs, up to 45,000 members will complete cognitive assessments while the ring collects sleep, activity, stress, and physiological data, linking proxy to self-reported cognitive measurements. In a partnership with sleep-tech provider Resmed, Oura is exploring the care side of its offering. Oura members with repeated nighttime breathing disturbances can be directed toward sleep education, assessment tools, provider options, and Resmed’s extensive sleep care network. For now, Oura's model is care navigation rather than diagnosis.
