🌍 A historic milestone for our network - and a real success story. Today’s joint event on geopolitical risks was truly something special: for the first time, the German-speaking Netzwerk Risikomanagement and Risk Managers Romandie came together for one shared event - and it was a full hit. 🚀 Topical, timely and highly relevant, the event brought together outstanding speakers, a record-worthy number of participants, and exactly the kind of open exchange our community thrives on. We were honoured to hear from an exceptional group of speakers: 🔹 Peter Giger on the Global Risks Report 2026 - "To be read with a glass of wine ;-)" 🔹 Lauren Ricks and Petko Nedev on how a mature ERM framework can help address geopolitical risks - "That takes several cycles and a risk needs a seat at the Strategy table" 🔹 Fabrizio Balda on integrating risk, business continuity and crisis response for geopolitical resilience - Key takeaway: Heatmaps are everywhere, even in a Republique. 🔹 Dr. Philippe M. on managing economic uncertainty in a volatile world - "The map is not the territory" (and he loves maps). A big thank you as well to our excellent co-moderators Daniel Imhof, Gabriela Federer Wenger and Jose Maria Carbonell Segales, who guided this special afternoon with clarity, energy and great team spirit. And beyond the stage, the atmosphere at the beautiful Berner Berner Generationenhaus was just as memorable: so many new faces, new conversations, new connections - and many voices already saying they want to build on this exchange in the future.
