Young veterinarians step into their careers with strong skills, high motivation and genuine passion.   In our conversations with students and early‑career vets, one need stands out clearly. They are not only asking how to do the job well, but they are asking how to build a career that is sustainable, meaningful and balanced over time. We saw this firsthand at Purina’s event in Italy for young veterinarians, supported by Nomisma research, which revealed a passionate generation facing increasing pressure, uncertainty, and a significant need for stronger professional support.
