Reflecting on our recent pop-up in Covent Garden, we would like to thank everyone - both human and canine - who joined us at The Oyster Bar: Clean Water Served Daily🦪 Our two-day, dog-friendly event, in partnership with marine conservation experts Oyster Heaven, brought ocean restoration into central London. We showed how oysters actively filter and clean up to 200 litres of seawater daily, demonstrating their vital power to tackle declining marine habitats. It was truly encouraging to see hundreds of visitors witness live sea water-filtration demonstrations and learn about Purina Europe's wider Ocean Restoration Programme. For Purina, protecting the marine environments where our ingredients come from matters to us. We use fish ingredients, primarily from highly nutritious fish by-products, in many of our recipes. Our commitment extends to supporting projects like the planned deployment of four million oysters off the Norfolk coast, aiming to help restore water clarity and boost biodiversity 🌊 We were really inspired by the genuine curiosity and engagement from visitors keen to understand how oysters work and why restoring them matters. We couldn't finish without mentioning all the wonderful four legged friends who came along as well; from posing perfectly in the doggy beach hut, to enjoying the smells at the sea-themed sensory station, to getting the odd treat here and there - their wagging tails and bright eyes made this immersive event even more special.
