When you find the exceptional, you do everything you can to preserve it. At Nespresso, this belief shapes how we work with coffee farmers around the world—supporting a transition toward regenerative agriculture, an approach grounded in agronomical principles that aim to protect natural resources such as soil, water, and biodiversity, while strengthening the long‑term resilience of coffee farming. Already today, 85% of the coffee we source through the Nespresso Plan comes from farms practicing regenerative agriculture. This story is told in Groundswell, the new award-winning documentary by directors Josh Tickell and Rebecca Harrell Tickell. The film explores regenerative agriculture systems around the world and includes a chapter filmed on a Nespresso partner coffee farm in Jardin, Colombia—inviting audiences to explore how thriving, healthy soils help create the right conditions for exceptional coffee taste. Along the way, the journey was also followed by young climate experts, bringing fresh perspectives as the story unfolded—from the ground up.
