Together AI has raised $800 million in a Series C round, more than doubling its valuation to $8.3 billion. Consequently, the San Francisco-based startup now ranks among 2026's largest AI infrastructure deals. Aramco Ventures led the round, while Vista Equity Partners, General Catalyst, Emergence Capital, NVIDIA, March Capital, Pegatron, and SentinelOne's S Ventures also participated. Furthermore, the company, founded in 2022, helps businesses train and run AI workloads on open-source models such as DeepSeek, MiniMax, and Kimi, at costs well below closed systems. As a result, annual bookings have topped $1.15 billion, with customers including Cursor, Cognition, and Decagon. Ultimately, Together AI plans to use the funds to expand inference capacity roughly 50-fold over five years, doubling down on the shift toward open-source AI infrastructure.
