It has been such a long minute! 😅 I have been completely off-radar, caught up in the intense university pressure of a really tough academic block. Let’s just say I have been living in the library! But I am back, feeling incredibly re-energized and inspired. ✨ Yesterday, we had the privilege of hearing a phenomenal talk by the inspiring Tlangelani Khosa . Seeing a fellow "Vossie" return to share their journey and insights was exactly the reminder I needed about where dedication can take us. Thank you, Tlangelani, for taking the time to invest in us and for lighting the way forward. Hearing that talk was also a powerful reminder of the importance of community, which feels especially relevant as we enter Men's Mental Health Awareness Month this June. In high-pressure fields, breaking the silence and checking in on the minds and hearts of the men around us isn't just important—it’s vital. Let's continue to build spaces where it is safe to be vulnerable. 🧠🤍 Coincidentally, today is also World Biomedical Science Day! 🔬🧬 To all the incredible lecturers, industry professionals, and my fellow biomedicine students at Eduvos who work tirelessly behind the scenes: Happy Biomed Day! I know many of us are currently navigating an incredibly demanding, heavy academic block. The pressure is real, and the late nights are tough. But choosing to look for the positives, leaning on one another, and remembering the profound impact our future work will have on saving lives is exactly how we get through. We’ve got this. Let’s keep moving forward with resilience and purpose! 🤍 #BiomedicalScienceDay #Vossies #Eduvos #MensMentalHealth #UniversityLife #Biomedicine #Resilience #Gratitude
