When St Catherine's College, University of Oxford, was forced to close several key buildings due to the presence of RAAC in its roof structures, a rapid solution was needed to keep lectures, seminars and events running. Neptunus delivered a high-quality temporary lecture theatre complex in just three weeks, providing space for up to 250 people, along with seminar rooms, breakout spaces and a foyer. Despite challenging winter weather, saturated ground conditions and a restricted riverside site, the project was completed to an exceptionally high standard, ensuring the College could continue its academic programme without disruption. Belinda Gardner, Conference Manager at St Catherineโs College, said: "It was a pleasure working with the Neptunus team to develop our interim state-of-the-art theatre and seminar suites. Throughout the project, Neptunus demonstrated professionalism, open communication, and conduct that aligned with our own standards, finishing the works to an exceptionally high standard." We're proud to have supported St Catherineโs College with a flexible solution during a challenging period and to have delivered a facility that enables teaching, learning and events to continue uninterrupted. #temporarybuildings #university #oxford #neptunusstructures
