From an AHTS vessel to final set — all completed in just 16 hours and 41 minutes ⏱️ The CAN-ductor was successfully installed on the 35/10-16S Carmen Appraisal well in the North Sea for Wellesley Petroleum — demonstrating how CAN technology enables safe, efficient, and rigless subsea well construction. Installed from the AHTS Aurora Sandefjord, the CAN-ductor was deployed horizontally over the stern roller using winches — with zero personnel required on deck during deployment. Fabrication was completed by Randaberg Industries without incidents, supported by extended work schedules and close follow-up from Neodrill and DNV. Well Expertise AS delivered full turnkey project management on behalf of Wellesley Petroleum — covering marine advisory, vessel intake, cost control, HSEQ, and risk management.
