I’m not one for New Year’s resolutions. I find creating a goal for just the sake of January not very helpful, especially when February hits (hello shame trap). Making a firm decision with very doable actions when the mood strikes is more my modus operandi. But if, perhaps, I feel empowered and it happens to be January, I’ll do it. I just won’t call it a resolution. Instead, it’s a commitment until my goal is reached or I make a forever behaviour change.
