It’s #YouthMonth, and we’re reminded of Madiba’s faith in the power of young people to imagine a better future. On 18 June at the University of South Africa’s Muckleneuk Campus, the Nelson Mandela Foundation will host its annual Youth Dialogue, bringing together young people to to reflect on the legacy of the 1976 generation and its relevance today. As we reflect on the courage and activism that shaped our democracy, we’ll also confront the realities facing youth today: unemployment, inequality, and the urgent need to unlock opportunities in the digital economy.
