#goingaboveandbeyond It snowed quite heavily in Keighley early yesterday morning, but the result was not as significant as that left by the Great Blizzard of 25th February 1933. This photograph published in the following weeks Keighley News shows local man Mr Taylor taking a break during his five hour stint to dig a path from the background cottages to nearby Banks Lane. The young local lad in the photo 'doing his bit' assisting is 12 years old Tom Moore who better known as Captain Sir Tom Moore sadly left us yesterday. May he rest in peace. (Photo: W. Moore/Keighley News 4th March 1933).
