Good morning, This is about Ernie and Eve, who met in a world of meeting, touching, and actual face to face communication, when humans were still in charge of things. 'Hands free' meant that their hands were actually free...to hold each other's...instead of scrolling and tapping and staring at a tiny screen. In their world, getting hold of the latest apple product involved Derek the greengrocer. They met at a dance in 1952, Eve graceful and stunning in her silk dress and pearl drop earrings, and Ernie standing proud in his smart tailored suit and hat. They've been glued together ever since, and lived through so many changes. To Ernie and Eve, the world is speeding away, too fast, too complicated, with too many people worried and consumed with things that make absolutely no sense. They adore their their 7 gorgeous grandchildren, but they have absolutely no idea what they're talking about! Why is that silly little phone more important than a face to face conversation?...what's going on in there?... is there a mystical magical world inside that little screen, ...much better than sitting and listening to our boring stories ??? Ernie and Eve preferred the old days. They had much less, but they had much more. Less connected but so much more connected.
