RESOLUTION — a short film I co-wrote, co-directed and produced with the brilliant Nathan Loynes. A poetic coming-of-age story exploring identity, family and growing up in modern Britain. It went on to screen at multiple international festivals and connect with audiences in a way we never fully expected. Since then, it’s been incredible to see where people have gone… Tillie Amartey now lighting up screens on BBC’s Waterloo Road Ben Saffer going on to work on No Time To Die But more than anything, it’s a project that’s taken on a different meaning over time. Some stories hit closer to real life than you anticipate. And sometimes that changes how—and when—you choose to share them. We never gave this film a full online release. I’ve been reflecting recently on whether now is the right time. Either way, it’s reminded me how powerful honest, story-driven filmmaking can be. And it’s definitely sparked something again.
