The 3rd in a series of articles on lessons in transformation from work I have led and contributed to. This comes from my time a GM of Customer Information for a large public transport organisation. I've been delivering complex transformation for over 20 years, including closing things, growing them, moving poor performance to record results, reducing headcount, improving operational efficiency, and digital and technology capability uplift. I'm writing a few of these into case studies where I led the transformation, and what I learned from it. I hope this may be useful for others.
