Meet Your Neighbour: Gunther  “I retired in 2007 and a friend told me about Neighbour to Neighbour. I loved it immediately.”  Eighteen years later, Gunther is still here every Monday with his crew. Over the years, he has worked as a food bank receiver, helped with home deliveries and food drives, and become what many affectionately call the “Mr. Fix-It” around Neighbour to Neighbour.  “Over time, I have watched food insecurity get worse every single year. More people, more need, more families struggling in ways that are not always visible from the outside.”  “The staff and volunteers at Neighbour to Neighbour genuinely care. I see that every week, and I am proud to be part of it.”  Thank you, Gunther, for 18 years of showing what neighbours helping neighbours truly means. 🧡
