NEEXT is pleased to officially announce its strategic cooperation with Blykalla. From Belfort, France, one of the world’s most renowned hubs for large-scale power engineering, NEEXT brings its engineering, design, and advanced modeling expertise to support Blykalla and its lead-cooled SMR technology in optimizing the performance of its nuclear heat-to-power conversion cycles, commonly referred to as the conventional island. As a first step, NEEXT has provided the analytical tools and technical expertise required to identify and select the most appropriate cold source for each prospective site, whether designed for a single-reactor or multi-reactor configuration. Our teams are now exploring additional areas of collaboration, driven by a shared ambition: to design a fully integrated power plant that reflects the strengths of the reactor itself i.e. competitive, compact, modular, and exemplary in its efficient use of natural resources, particularly water.
