Now that I’m fully on the World Cup bandwagon, can’t help but think back to a favorite GEICO spot created with partner Justin Harris. Three distinct memories bubble up… 1. Watching the hero player slide across a tarp covered in dish soap & water a bazillion times. Movie magic! 2. Before VO record, listening to hours of “best soccer goal calls” as research until even my internal monologue developed a British accent. 3. Eating a mystery meat stew in the middle of the night shoot and regretting it for the next 48 hours / forever.
