This facility is a deliberate move in our long-term strategy — not a headline, but a structural improvement. The center consolidates post-coating activities, surface treatment, sorting, packaging, and outbound logistics under one roof. Activities that were previously split across multiple parties and locations are now managed within a single, controlled environment. Fewer handovers. Clearer accountability. Shorter throughput times. WHY THIS MATTERS FOR THE SUPPLY CHAIN: Automotive supply chains operate under sustained pressure — volatile demand, tighter lead times, working capital constraints. The Service & Logistics center is engineered to address this directly. By holding semi-finished parts after heat treatment and completing final processing steps only when customer demand is confirmed, we reduce finished-goods inventory while improving response time. Production planning becomes more stable. Capital tied up in stock is reduced. WHAT CENTRALIZATION CHANGES: Before this center opened, split responsibility across suppliers and sites introduced variability into critical process steps. Bringing these activities together improves process stability, traceability, and quality consistency — and reduces the number of interfaces between our plants and external parties.
