𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲’𝘀 𝗮𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗻➕ Yesterday, Necron Group AG, Port of Rotterdam and PTP Group Logistics signed an agreement for the development of 38 hectares within Rotterdam Food Hub, located directly at the entrance to Maasvlakte in the Port of Rotterdam. Together, we are developing logistics infrastructure for the storage and handling of refrigerated and frozen agrifood cargo flows entering Europe. The development combines: ▪️ 145,000 m² of cold and frozen storage capacity ▪️ A dedicated agrifood terminal ▪️ A new 500-metre quay wall with direct maritime access ▪️ An integrated Energy Hub supporting future operations ▪️ Multimodal connectivity for efficient distribution across Europe Rotterdam Food Hub strengthens Rotterdam’s position as one of Europe’s leading gateways for agrifood logistics. By bringing storage, terminal operations, maritime access and energy infrastructure together in one location, the development creates an integrated platform for growing agrifood flows across Europe.
