Important reflection, Steve Simpson. Safety warnings only matter if the system responds to them. When people repeatedly raise concerns and nothing changes, the UGRs become clear: keep moving, don’t slow things down, and accept the risk. Over time, people stop speaking up — not because they don’t care, but because they learn that action is unlikely. That’s when warning systems become performative instead of protective. A strong reminder that culture is revealed not by whether warnings exist, but by what happens after they are raised. #SafetyCulture #Leadership #UGRs #WorkplaceCulture #CulturalIntelligence
