NAIDOC Week is a beautiful opportunity for all of us to recognise and celebrate the rich history, culture, and achievements of the First Peoples of Australia. To mark this year’s milestone of “50 years of deadly”, our team took time to step back, listen, appreciate and learn: - In Sydney, we joined a Thursday lunchtime yarn led by prolific Indigenous artist Professor Wayne Quilliam, and participated in a collaborative art piece in our lobby - We learned symbols recognised across many mobs to better understand complex cultural stories - We played a memory game taught us about native animals through the beautiful art of Mick Harding. - The team decorate their workstations with artwork from talented Indigenous artists Kerri-Ann Taggart and Belle Leonard. #NAIDOCWeek #NAIDOC26 #FirstNations #Deadly
