Personal update. I'm pleased to share that I have successfully defended my PhD thesis, "Multi-Task Learning for Joint Survival Prediction and Cancer Grade Classification in Glioma and Renal Cell Carcinoma," at SEECS, NUST. The work brings together deep learning and computational pathology to support better clinical decisions in oncology, and reaching this milestone has been a deeply rewarding journey. My sincere gratitude to my supervisor, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Moazam Fraz, whose guidance, patience, and unwavering support shaped this research at every stage. I'm also thankful to my co-supervisor, Dr. Zuhair Zafar, for his valuable insight and encouragement throughout. I'm equally grateful to my GEC members, Dr. Faisal Shafait, Dr. SYED IMRAN ALI, and Dr. Abdul Basit, for their rigorous review and constructive feedback that made this work stronger. Thank you to everyone who was part of this milestone. On to the next chapter.
