This week saw the launch of our new NatWest Accelerator at Tyseley Energy Park in the West Midlands, in partnership with TEP Birmingham and Webster & Horsfall Group. TEP Birmingham is home to more than 20 energy and technology organisations working across low carbon energy, sustainable transport, resource recovery, advanced materials and the circular economy. Through the Accelerator, we're supporting regional priorities around green growth, innovation and commercialisation, while helping entrepreneurs and businesses access the support they need to take their next step. Financial institutions play a key role in helping businesses and the economy transition to net zero. Our Head of Group Sustainability, Kirsty Britz, shares an update on progress against our own climate ambitions so far this year – and what it means for our customers and the wider economy.
