Earlier this month, the NATO Research Vessel Alliance departed Italy for the High North and Arctic, marking the start of Task Force X-Arctic (TFX-Arctic) - a NATO initiative aimed at strengthening situational awareness and accelerating the integration of emerging technologies into operational use. The initiative builds on TFX-Baltic, and is part of NATO's Rapid Adoption Action Plan agreed at the 2025 Summit in The Hague. Led by NATO Allied Command Transformation (ACT), TFX-Arctic will demonstrate how networked uncrewed systems, under human control, can deliver persistent multi-domain awareness in demanding Arctic conditions. The NATO Centre for Maritime Research and Experimentation (CMRE) serves as technical lead, supporting experimentation with autonomous systems in collaboration with Allied and industry partners through NATO DIANA. 🚢 Read more about this activity: https://lnkd.in/eRgpYRbk
