On Tuesday, June 16, the NATO Association of Canada had the honour of visiting the Consulate General of Germany in Toronto for an introductory meeting with Consul General Anne Wagner-Mitchell. The discussion focused on Canada–Germany relations, transatlantic security, NATO cooperation, and opportunities for future collaboration between our organizations. During the visit, the NATO Association of Canada was also pleased to present the Consulate General of Germany with an official diplomatic membership certificate, recognizing and strengthening the relationship between our organizations. We were additionally honoured to have NAOC Director Honourable John McKay and NAOC Vice President Lana Kharlip, MPA lead the delegation, alongside 11 NAOC interns in company with members of the German Consulate team, including three consulate interns. The NATO Association of Canada would like to sincerely thank Consul General Wagner-Mitchell and her team for their warm hospitality and for taking the time to engage with our delegation. We look forward to continuing to strengthen our relationship and fostering further dialogue on the evolving geopolitical and security challenges facing the transatlantic community. #NATO #Natoassociationofcanada #Germany #security #geopolitics
