At Native Americans in Philanthropy, we believe that resources flowing to Native communities must be guided by Native voices. That's why we are proud to amplify this important event from Workforce Matters. Workforce Matters' Grantmaking in Native Nations and Communities Fund and Initiative is funding Native-led workforce initiatives and ensuring that the advisory leadership shaping the grantmaking is rooted in Native expertise and lived experience. We are deeply appreciative of Workforce Matters for centering Tribal sovereignty and moving money directly to Tribes and Native-led initiatives. Thank you, Loh-Sze Leung and Clair Minson, for moving this work forward with intention and integrity. On Tuesday, June 30, from 3:30–4:30 PM ET, join the following speakers for a conversation about self-determination and innovation as keys to transformative workforce development in Native communities, and what philanthropy must do to rise to that moment. Featured panelists: Ian Record, Lead Author, NCAI Tribal Workforce Development Toolkit Kelly Drummer, President, MIGIZI Lana Chanda, Director of Employment and Training, Gila River Indian Community This is the kind of sector-shifting conversation that we need. We hope you'll join us!
