You’ve got this. In case you were wondering, a typical day for a prairie dog starts at dawn (give or take hitting the snooze one to four times), when they emerge from their burrows to forage. The morning is spent nibbling on grasses, seeds, and roots...always keeping a sharp eye out for predators (and work emails they've been trying to avoid since last Monday). After a busy morning, prairie dogs devote time to maintaining their burrows and socializing with their colony. They communicate through a lively mix of barks and chirps to warn of danger (last minute Teams calls, or to coordinate a much-needed prairie dog happy hour. (But it’s only Monday? Exactly.)
