Job Title: Web/Networker🕸️ About the Role: Are you an expert at engineering intricate nets with minimal resources? Join a team, or work solo, as a web/networker, where your primary responsibility is building silk webs to efficiently trap your dinner. Your creations will not only serve as hunting tools but also function as shelters, territorial markers, protective nurseries, and platforms to attract potential mates. Key Responsibilities: • Produce high-performance silk threads using specialized abdominal silk glands. • Operate spinneret technology to convert liquid silk proteins into durable threads. • Design and maintain webs with anchor points, radial spokes, sticky spirals, and prey-wrapping strands. • Math • Monitor web integrity and respond to environmental stimuli (vibrations) to capture targets efficiently. Qualifications: • Must have spinneret technology and proven experience in silk production and web design. • Ability to multitask and keep eye(s) on construction, defense, and able to build in any location. • Exceptional patience and precision in thread placement and with humans. • Ability to rebuild web quickly.
