At Camp Nelson National Monument in Kentucky, preservation work happens one object at a time as part of the National Park Service’s ongoing effort to protect and preserve museum collections that tell the American story. The NPS is now hiring a GS-5 Seasonal Museum Technician (Anthropology) in the Resource Management Division. This position supports hands-on collections care, documentation, and cultural resource preservation across Camp Nelson’s museum collections. Open to the first 100 applicants and closes July 1, 2026.
