We are proud to be strengthening environmental education with the next generation🌱 Following our successful ecological tours at the Moorebank Intermodal Terminal, we recently shifted the setting and spent a day with students at Wattle Grove Public School — connecting classroom learning with the ecology of their own surroundings. Our experienced ecologists guided students through the local environment, identifying key species, discussing habitat needs, and exploring where nest boxes could be located to support native wildlife. The session also covered practical weed management and included fact sheets for ongoing learning and hands‑on activities. It was a highly engaged group, and the program aligned closely with the environmental science syllabus — turning curriculum into something tangible, visible and relevant for young people. For National Intermodal, these initiatives deepen our commitment to sharing environmental expertise and supporting communities near our project locations. They also reinforce the role that practical, place‑based education can play in long‑term environmental stewardship. We look forward to supporting these students as they learn, explore and care for the ecosystems around them 🌿 #NationalIntermodal #Sustainability #Infrastructure #Community #Environment #Education #Freight ESR Group Westley Owers
