The new B Jetty at CFB Esquimalt is already helping support Canada’s Navy with modern infrastructure built for the future. The project includes upgraded utilities, dredged waterways, and an environmental remediation that removed contaminated sediments from the harbour seabed. From its design to the opening ceremony in 2025, B-Jetty was constructed with careful attention to the surrounding ecosystems and wildlife, and consultations with local First Nations were done to ensure culturally significant areas around the harbour were protected.
