NPCC congratulates honours recipients in policing A career in policing is a life dedicated to service — protecting others, often facing danger and balancing demand against available resources every day. The King’s Birthday Honours offer an important moment to pause and reflect, recognising the exceptional efforts of the policing family that often risk going unseen as ‘business as usual’. Congratulations to the police officers, staff and volunteers recognised this year. Your achievements reflect the commitment, pride and professionalism of the entire policing family. Thank you for your service. Our chair, Chief Constable Gavin Stephens QPM, said: "Every day, members of the policing family up and down the country demonstrate courage, dedication and commitment to serving our communities and keeping people safe. "I am delighted to see the contribution of so many police officers, police staff and volunteers recognised in His Majesty the King’s Birthday Honours once again. "Each recipient of these honours should feel immensely proud of the impact they have had on policing and I want to express my sincerest congratulations to everyone that has been recognised for their contribution and service."
