When Professor Arthur Christopoulos was 16, he knew that he A) wanted to be a pharmacist and B) that he wanted to cure schizophrenia. Having achieved ‘A’, and driven by a passion for discovery science, Professor Christopoulos of Monash University is still progressing towards B. Professor Christopoulos is the recipient of the 2025 NHMRC Peter Doherty Investigator Grant Award in the leadership category for his research into discovering drugs targeted at G protein coupled receptors (GPCRs).
