Reporting of sex, gender, variations of sex characteristics and sexual orientation in research publications promotes reproducibility and supports meta-analyses. It also helps build an evidence base that can improve health outcomes for all people in Australia. All NHMRC funded research must consider sex, gender, variations of sex characteristics and sexual orientation at all stages of research projects, including reporting and publishing. To learn more about best practice in accounting for these important variables in publications, watch the presentation from Professor Ginny Barbour, Editor in Chief at the MJA, at our recent webinar: https://ow.ly/Zc1m50YzwjG
