Spring 2026 marked an exciting semester for NCI students in the School of Computing with the Laya x NCI Innovation Hackathon with the challenge culminating on 1st of April. We are delighted to announce that out of the 7 projects, 2 will continue to gain work experience with Laya while completing their studies, affording them the opportunity to build portfolio-ready projects invaluable as they continue to pursue their career goals. Sudeep Aryan Gaddameedi, a student of MSc in Artificial Intelligence, has been awarded a paid internship with Laya: “I can’t wait to take up this position with Laya, I am thrilled! The whole experience, from real employer brief through supported project prep was brilliant, but for my work to be recognised with this appointment is really special.
