#中研院院士楊威迦至成大演講 中研院院士暨國際知名燃燒與推進工程領域專家楊威迦教授，30日以「數位時代的工程設計、創新與實踐」為題，至成大與專家學者、學生分享研究經驗，讓參與者更加了解工程發展與日常生活的重要性。 綜觀世界文明發展歷史，無一不跟工程科技息息相關，小至上古時代人類打製石器、蓋茅草屋，發展到民生工程，再到現今的AI技術、國防科技都是工程發展的一環。 楊威迦院士演講時提到，在這個資訊化、科技化，追求效率的時代裡，未來應朝向創新工程設計、先進製造技術、資訊網路化、經營有機管理來發展。 完整新聞請看：https://reurl.cc/g8EZRz Dr. Vigor Yang, internationally recognized expert in combustion and propulsion and Academician of Academia Sinica, talked about engineering design in an invited speech at NCKU. He believes the direction of development should be innovative engineering design in this era of information and technology. "Everything in the course of the history of world cultural development can be attributed to engineering sciences." Dr. Yang received an honorary doctorate degree from NCKU in 2018. Famed for haivng solved engine combustion instability issues for NASA, Dr. Yang was elected a member of the U.S. National Academy of Engineering.
