Last week, we visited Gdańsk for an inspiring study trip, meeting with City Architect Piotr Lorens and leading real estate developers while exploring some of the city's most exciting new developments and the revitalized Granary Island. 🌱 MONTOWNIA Lofts & Experience Gdańsk | MORE THAN A HOTEL 🌱 Doki Living (Euro Styl) 🌱 Botanica Jelitkowo (Invest Komfort) 🌱 Olivia Centre, Olivia Home 🌱 Garnizon (Grupa Hossa SA) We were welcomed with great hospitality and returned with valuable insights and inspiration. We also explored different cooperation and financing models between cities, banks, and developers. 👉 The Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model, which has enabled the modern development of Gdańsk’s historic centre on municipal land under specific conditions. 👉 A financing model widely used in Poland, where development projects are partially financed by buyers during the construction phase. The model is supported by a dedicated purchaser protection system, which helps ensure buyers' interests are safeguarded throughout the development process. Many thanks to Katarzyna Bendowska, Michał Leszczyński, Konrad Plochocki (Polski Związek Firm Deweloperskich_PZFD) to make this happen, Magdalena Renska (Euro Styl), Marzena Mazur (Montownia), Piotr Lorens, Izabela Adamczak, Maja Banaszczyk (Invest Komfort), Ewa Nowicka, Michał Klepczyński (Olivia Business Centre, Olivia Home), Oskar Keller and Marcin Woyciechowski (GI HOSSA S.A.) for sharing their knowledge, experience and time with us. 👏
