Last Thursday, I had the opportunity to attend the Corecom Consulting x Optum event focused on “Pharmacy Powered by Digital Innovation.” The Optum speakers shared valuable perspectives on their close collaboration with the NHS and how evolving digital frameworks are supporting safer, more efficient patient care. I particularly enjoyed learning about the new technologies being introduced, including: -ScriptCheck – improving clinical safety through enhanced prescription oversight -Pharmacy First – supporting community pharmacies in delivering accessible & faster frontline care -Cloud-based solutions – enabling faster, more integrated workflows across healthcare systems As an (almost) qualified professional, I obtained a wider appreciation for how digital innovation is integral to improving patient outcomes and streamlining clinical processes. A huge thank you to Corecom and Optum for hosting such a forward-thinking and engaging session.
