For the better part of a decade, I have had the privilege of serving Pakistan's musicians and music industry. During this time, through festival direction, curation, management and collaboration I have seen the growth of hundreds of Pakistani artists. These voices deserve to be heard across the subcontinent, and all over the globe. To be honored at Times Square by Spotify as #EqualPakistan Artist of the Month, is a culmination of these many years of service. And what it represents is not just the amplification of my voice, but the idea that all the artists I have the good fortune of working with today, can and should be showcased globally.
