Bain Capital and Cinven have signed a definitive agreement to sell a majority stake in STADA Arzneimittel AG (“STADA”) to CapVest Partners LLP (“CapVest”). My EY and EY-Parthenon colleagues and I supported Bain Capital and Cinven in this transaction on the sell-side as well as for the aborted IPO preparations. We provided financial vendor due diligence including operational assessment and pension due diligence, tax services, valuation and accounting services, as well as financial modeling (using EY‘s CARVEx toolset) and business plan support. I would like to congratulate the teams of Bain Capital, Cinven, STADA as well as CapVest on behalf of the entire EY and EY-Parthenon team for this successful transaction. I’m proud that we were able to support all the parties in this highly demanding and complex journey. We are looking forward to working with all the teams on future projects. Additionally, I would like to personally thank each of my colleagues for their unwavering dedication, patience, and continuous engagement throughout the entire project.
