Supporting Queenslandβs manufacturing sector to grow
What do the Scorpion Root Cutter π¦, Trojan Mulcher βοΈ and the beefy Raptor Ripper π¦ have in common? Apart from being unmistakably orange π§, they sound a little like they belong in Jurassic Park (or maybe that's just me! π). They're actually innovative pieces of agricultural equipment π designed and manufactured right here in Toowoomba by TTQ. What I enjoyed most from my recent visit π was hearing how TTQ is evolving beyond its strong cotton π± heritage and into grazing π and pastoral cropping applications. Even more impressive is that this uniquely Australian π¦πΊ technology is addressing challenges that many overseas producers, including those in Brazil π§π·, are still tackling through intensive herbicide use. It's another great example of regional manufacturing ingenuity π‘πβlocal businesses innovating to meet the needs of Australian industries. #RegionalManufacturing #AustralianManufacturing #Agriculture π #AgTech π± #Toowoomba #Innovation π‘ #Manufacturing π #QueenslandManufacturing Geraint Hudson Anthony Holzwart Anton Griffiths Mark Casey Toowoomba and Surat Basin Enterprise Scott Templeman ACEcD Dr Rebecca Vonhoff GAICD Emily Pullen Louise McMahon April Cavanagh Cotton Research and Development Corporation Cotton Australia Daniel Fletcher GAICD Lidewij Koene-Sloss Andrew Bate SwarmFarm Robotics TTQ Pat O'Brien Rowena Beveridge Helen Bates Michele Berkhout
