As we close out Women’s History Month in the coming days, the reminder that “Baseball is the best!” rings clearly in the minds of many baseball fans, especially Major League Baseball (MLB) reporter and editor Sarah Langs. Upon being presented with the Casey Stengel “You Could Look It Up” Award by the Baseball Writers’ Association of America in 2023, Langs said: “When I got the chance to be 24/7 baseball, I think [the catchphrase] kind of came out of that. ‘This is baseball. This is why I'm here. This is the best thing.’”
