THE EMPIRE: AMERICAN FASCISM IN ACTION. - Supreme Court Expands Trump’s Power Over Immi-gration https://lnkd.in/eKQzp2_H In a pair of sharply divided decisions on Thursday, the Supreme Court allowed Trump’s aggressive crack-down on immigration to move forward, permitting the regime to expel hundreds of thousands of migrants from the country and to turn away others at the southern border. - Supreme Court Allows Trump to Block Asylum Seekers at Border https://lnkd.in/eXfTtMG6 The Supreme Court said on Thursday that the Trump-regime can turn away migrants seeking asylum along the U.S.-Mexico border by physically preventing them from crossing into the United States as they seek protection from persecution. - How the Supreme Court Decision Upends Life for Tens of Thousands of Migrants https://lnkd.in/ebKTnRjf The ruling on Temporary Protection Status will have swift repercussions for migrants and employers alike. - Miami’s Haitian Community Braces for Deportations https://lnkd.in/eqMk-Ncv The Trump-regime’s plan to end the Temporary Protected Status for immigrants from Haiti puts hundreds of thousands at risk of returning to a country in crisis. The Supreme Court on Thursday let the Trump-regime end temporary protections that allowed more than 350,000 people from Haiti and Syria to live and work legally in the United States. The decision regarding the Temporary Protected Status program applies only to people from those 2 countries, but it will have implications for all 1.3 million T.P.S. holders in the United States, who come from more than a dozen nations.
