I’m happy to share that I’ve graduated from the NUS Faculty of Law JD programme, and I’m pleased to have been awarded the Helmsman Singapore Prize in Maritime Law for being the best student in the course Maritime Law in my final year. I would like to thank Prof Alexandros X.M. Ntovas for the invaluable guidance and insights throughout the course. The JD programme has given me the opportunity to learn from distinguished law professors alongside an inspiring and diverse group of classmates. I am particularly grateful to Emeritus Prof Robert Beckman, Joel Ong and Prof Gary F. Bell for making arrangements for me to attend class remotely for a few weeks during my final semester. Your kindness is much appreciated. This journey would not have been possible without the support of my mentors. Thank you also to my friends from the legal fraternity for the advice and guidance that have been instrumental in helping me navigate law school. I would also not have reached this point without the support of LBKM and MTFA, and I look forward to giving back. Last but not least, I am thankful for the unconditional support and understanding of my loved ones.
