The architecture of a winery does not merely serve functional needs; it can become an expression of the region that hosts it. In the Nals Margreid project, the building volumes follow the natural contours of the terrain and blend into the landscape through a careful selection of materials. Concrete pigmented with local porphyry aggregate evokes the characteristic hues of the area between Bolzano and Merano, while wood and glass help define a minimalist and restrained architectural language. A design approach that connects architecture, local identity, and the memory of the landscape, in a continuous dialogue between form, material, and territory. ... L'architettura di una cantina non risponde soltanto a esigenze funzionali: può diventare un'espressione del territorio che la ospita. Nel progetto di Nals Margreid, i volumi seguono l'andamento naturale del terreno e si integrano nel paesaggio attraverso una scelta attenta dei materiali. Il cemento pigmentato con inerte di porfido locale richiama le tonalità caratteristiche dell'area tra Bolzano e Merano, mentre legno e vetro contribuiscono a definire un linguaggio architettonico essenziale e misurato. Un approccio progettuale che mette in relazione architettura, identità del luogo e memoria del paesaggio, in un dialogo continuo tra forma, materia e territorio.
